Rojina Pradhan Rai
Innsworth
Cllr Rojina Pradhan Rai has lived in Innsworth for over six years with her husband, a proud Gurkha soldier, and their child, who attends a grammar school. She is a visionary leader, successful entrepreneur, and passionate community advocate. A graduate of Anglia Ruskin University (UK), she holds a Master’s degree (MA) in Business Management.
She is honoured to serve the people of Innsworth and Longford with Tewkesbury, both as a Borough Councillor and as a Parish Councillor for Innsworth.
Rojina is deeply committed to supporting the local community and is actively involved in more than eight organisations across the UK. She is widely recognised as a key leader within the Gurkha wives’ community, with a strong emphasis on equality, cultural inclusion, and civic participation.
She currently serves as Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) International Coordination Council, where she leads the global Women’s Department, advocating for the empowerment of women and marginalised communities worldwide.
Since 2023, Rojina has served as a Parish Councillor, working closely with residents to ensure their concerns are heard and priorities acted upon. She is committed to enhancing essential services and building strong partnerships with local organisations, schools, and community groups to strengthen the social fabric of Innsworth and celebrate its diversity.
With a global perspective and unwavering local dedication, Rojina brings a powerful, inclusive, and visionary voice to the Council.
