Jon Wareing

Bourton Village

Jon has lived in Bourton since 1993 having moved to the area to get married and start a family. His daughters and stepsons attended the local schools and he was Vice-Chair of the Primary School Governing body between 2002 and 2008.

In addition to his Performance Coaching business, he has developed a portfolio of voluntary community activism roles bound by a common thread of supporting community growth and connection. 

In 2022, he chaired the working group that organised the Platinum Jubilee programme in Bourton. He is also a regular on Cotswolds Radio co-presenting a monthly show called Bourton Matters. Jon is passionate about improving mental health (serving as a trustee for Headspace – the local mental health charity for young people) and addressing environmental issues to ensure we leave our locality in a better state for future generations.

Cllr Jon Wareing is also a member of Bourton Parish Council.
